The Museum of Contemporary Art La Dolce Vita - Selections from the Ruth and Murray A.. Gribin collection of Southern Californian Art January 21 through April 18,

FEBRUARY

The Carlsbad Masquerade on February 25, 2006 hosted by "Ocean House" (formerly Neimans). This event is a fundraiser for the newly established Outdoor Art Foundation to purchase several pieces of sculpture for the Carlsbad Village. The project is co-sponsored by the Carlsbad Village Business Association, Museum Artists Foundation and the San Diego Visual Arts Network.

The Art of Photography Show at the Lyceum on April 22 – June 4 judged by Arthur Ollman from the Museum of Photographic arts and curated by Steven Churchill. Deadline for artists entries is Feb 10.

Digital Art Show at / San Diego Art Institute sponsored by Sony runs from April 30 to June 9.

Art Walk 2006 is April 29 & 30 - Noon to 6 p.m. in Little Italy featuring Arouse Yourself with Art: Collecting Secrets Revealed sponsored by SDVAN.

La Jolla Festival of the Arts will be June 24 and 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m

The San Diego County Fair Saturday, June 10 - Tuesday, July 4. (Closed Mondays except for Monday, July 3). This year the fair theme is " Ride the Tide to Fun” so be sure to check out the huge display of art, photography, and craft exhibitors interpretation of this theme.
