A new gallery in Northpark, The GETM gallery located at 3060 University is seeking new original art for shows in 2004. GETM, Global Education Through Music (www.getm.org) is a non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of the arts. By creating, sponsoring, promoting, implementing and participating in interactive arts-based events, programs and workshops GETM has exposed thousands of people to a multitude of arts including music, visual art, dance and film. GETM’s activities emphasize the importance creative arts have in the development of self-esteem. GETM has recently taken on the administrative and curatorial responsibilities of 3060 and is looking for the best, most original art San Diego artists have to offer to fill its gallery space. There are some specific themed shows that we need artwork for but we are also open to proposals from artists.
