One San Diego’s most prestigious juried exhibitions, the Athenaeum's 34th Annual Juried Exhibition will be on view August 1 through October 9, 2026.
This year, 357 artists entered more than 1,000 works for consideration. Juror Paul Mpagi Sepuya, selected the final 48 works by 42 artists for inclusion in the exhibition. Prize winners, including the recipient of the Leslie Von Kolb Memorial Award, will be announced at the opening reception on Friday, July 31. Representing a wide range of artistic practices and perspectives, the exhibition brings together works by both emerging and established artists from across the San Diego and Tijuana region.
The opening night reception will be held on Friday, July 31 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library in La Jolla. The reception is free and open to the public. |
