Event Description The Undiscovered Gallery is proud to present its next innovative art exhibit opening Friday, July 27th, 2012.   The theme for this show is going to be “Color Theory”: Colour is the element that results in light striking an object and reflecting back to the human eye. For every artist, the meaning color conveys varies in terms of  cultural, contextual, temporal, and perceptual differences. However, almost all artists use the power behind this element to evoke their message, consciously or unconsciously. For the upcoming show, I ask you to evaluate your work. Think of why it is you select the colors you use, think about whether you manipulate them, think about if you limit your palette, and think about color and the effect it has on not only your artwork, but the artwork of painters and photographers in the past as well as those in contemporary society.  Also, looking for musicians to perform at receptions! If this is something you're interested in, then email me for more details!
