| Event Description |
Color is a language in itself. It is a tool that artists utilize to communicate with the viewer. If the artist shoots only black and white photography, there's a reason behind it. If an artist paints with vibrant reds, oranges, and greens, there's a reason behind it. If an artists, sculpts with clay and limits his or her glazes to cool blues and off whites, there's a reason behind it. There are so many factors and variables within the process of creating art that artists must be aware of these and act accordingly. This exhibit is all about just this. How color conveys cultural, contextual, temporal, and perceptual difference and what it means to the viewer.
