Oceanside Museum of Art is pleased to present its newest innovative night event, Artists @ Work. On the second Thursday of each month OMA will showcase a different artist or artist collaborative by commissioning them to produce an original artwork live in front of guests during the newly-extended hours of 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a rare opportunity for members and visitors to closely engage with artists and get a first-hand look at the creative process. Each artist will discuss his/her process and techniques, followed by a question and answer session to close the evening. While watching artworks come to life, guests will delight in delicious appetizers sponsored by Harney Sushi and an open beer and wine bar. Tickets can be purchased by calling (760) 435-3721.
