Art Reviews by Kevin Freitas of Art As Authority

Kevin Freitas has been involved in the arts for most of his life (not in any particular order) as: a gallery dealer, artist, art transporter and now blogger and art writer. He constructs these occasional reviews of Visual Arts Exhibitions in the San Diego region which are posted on Art As Authority. The views of this author are not necessarily the views of the San Diego Visual Arts Network. Comments about this column should be directed to Kevin Frieitas

Kevin Freitas is launching a new section to the Art as Authority blog called Pisser de l'oei lor literally "Piss from the eye" in English. This is a project space where artists can test ideas, experiments and expressions. Kevin invites you to submit your latest project(s) in the form of images, video, text, flash, sound or any other web based media. The goal is to offer the public some insight into the creative process and to witness some of the most contemporary of contemporary works being produced at this moment. This will also hopefully establish a dialogue and incite commentary from peers and readers alike. The first one is featuring Lisa Ann Wilson
