"We are looking into submerging a larger glass coral piece into the Pacific Ocean in 2014."

On a personal note: Although this is our December message, most of you will be reading it at the end of November and if you are like us, you will be celebrating family and food of the Thanksgiving holiday. We span all weather zones with stops in Palm Springs and Minnesota. This is a time to re-charge the batteries and get ready for our annual SDVAN party as we continue to make progress on plans for the DNA of Creativity at OMA and nominations go out for the SD Art Prize 2014. I am a newbie on the board of the San Diego Art Institute and hope to bring a new infusion of fun and energy into both spaces - Balboa Park's Museum of the Living Artist and North Park's SD Art Department. The hunt for a new Executive Director is on, so watch this space for progress announcements in the new year.
