Members of the Mira Costa Chinese Club will guide children and their families through the traditional art of paper lanterns. After making the paper lantern you can personalize it with drawings and poems. Bring the whole family to this free art-making day at the museum where children are encouraged to view the artwork featured in the exhibitions, Industrial Alchemy: John Zabrucky, Plastic Fantastic: Allison Renshaw, Discoveries in Dystopia: Greg Brotherton, and Selections from the Permanent Collection.
