Event Description Voz Alta Project presents new works by San Diego's best Ricardo Islas and Franky Agostino at La Bodega on Chicano Park Day! Don't miss it! Franky Agostino was born in 1975 in Lacoruna, Spain. Since he was a little boy, he has been fascinated with surrealism and the Spanish art culture. Salvador Dali is one of his biggest influences, which is why you will see multiple hallucinatory images, plays on nature, woman and the dream world in his work. He pulls his main inspiration from women and the ocean. Art is Franky's therapy and provides guidance in his life. Ricardo Islas is an institution. The longtime San Diego artist is well-known for his paintings, which often feature icons and imagery from Mexican culture and his gritty sense of humor.
