Event Description

Frank Van Duerm's first solo show outside of Chicago entitled TARPS | CHAINS | PHOTOS is comprised of several yarn dyed linen tarps that have been bleached, marbleized, and affixed with various chains and small objects. Framed photographs of landscapes and ebay auction lots are presented with objects attached, ranging from kitchen whisks to video game cartridges. Frank Van Duerm makes assemblage and video. Solo shows include the Gahlberg Gallery (2001), Hills Aesthetic Center, and Pawn Works (2010), Rainbo Club (2013), and Ship in the Woods (2014). Frank is based in Chicago.
