Book Arts—Basics and Beyond
The first class will focus on book making tools, what an artist’s book is, and some simple formats to get started. After that: pacing the visual book, integrating format and content, viewing and design, and intermediate structures. We’ll play with skill-building exercises and collaborations in class and work toward the completion of a fully realized artist’s book.
$100 for 4 once-monthly classes

The Art Academy of San Diego offers classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, jewelry, stained glass, mosaic and graffiti. Register early because classes fill on a first come first served basis.
