Art Camp for Grown-Ups!
For years, parents of Art Start Art campers have been begging for a camp for adults. Well, here it is! Come stimulate the artist child within yourself as we explore a variety of painting and crafts. Create simple but beautiful art: a clay brush container, a mask cast from your face painted and decorated to your heart's desire, a tie-dye t-shirt and a lush, tropical watercolor. Materials will be provided. You will need to bring a sketchbook (9 x12") and a cotton item for tie-dye.

Free Family Art Day travels to Fire Station 7 at 3350 Mission Road in Oceanside as OMA collaborates with Oceanside Firefighters as they celebrate their annual Open House. Explore the firehouse and make some art! As the Firefighters say, “Bring your entire family down to meet ours!”
At Free Family Art Day, children and their parents work closely in the artistic process designing small works of art that reflect concepts and themes from the exhibitions on
view. All art activities and exhibitions on view are free to the public. Projects are
designed to engage children of all ages. No art experience is required for the art
activities and all supplies will be provided.
