Event Description Frida Kahlo-Inspired Self Portrait Play a bit of dress up, look at yourself in a mirror, and pose! Taking inspiration from the Surrealist elements present in Frida Kahlo iconic self-portrait, this Family Drop-In Day takes inspiration from the exhibition Gauguin to Warhol: 20th Century Icons from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Create your own costume or self-portrait using pastels on paper during this class led by Museum Educator Pamela Calore. Offered every Sunday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., Family Drop-In Days feature family friendly, docent-led tours, gallery games, and art projects for families to complete together. Activities are suitable for all ages and skill levels, and center around a specific theme. Art projects change weekly and themes change monthly. Contact us for more information. Pre-registration not required; children must be accompanied by an adult.
