Event Description This exhibition invited artists to create work incorporating found or discarded materials. Partnering with EDCO, the San Diego County Environmental Services and San Diego County Office of Education, SDAI will simultaneously exhibit "Dare to Reuse", an exhibition of student artwork. Leading up to these exhibitions, SDAI hosted free, hands-on workshops in the gallery each Saturday from 12pm-2pm starting March 14th. "What Remains: Debris and Detritus in Fine Art" will include several large, site-specific installations created from recycled materials, as well as the debut screening of a documentary about the Tijuana River Watershed. This exhibition is sponsored by The Thursday Club Foundation, The Thursday Club Juniors, EDCO, San Diego County Office of Education, County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health, and the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture.
