Event Description

Our seminar in contemporary art is back! This seminar-style course led by Deputy Director, Art and Programs, Kathryn Kanjo; Associate Curator, Jill Dawsey; Assistant Curator, Anthony Graham; and Education Curator, Cris Scorza will take a close look at 40 contemporary artists whose work has emerged or become prominent in the last decade. From artists changing our perspectives on medium, to artists with close ties to our region and beyond, each week you will learn more about those shaping the art world today. This program is $15 for Members; $20 for non-members. Not a Member? Join today, and if you’re interested in attending all four sessions you can purchase the full series at a discount. The cost is $45 for MCASD Members; $60 for non-members.

Event Description

The Studio Door has invited back ALL of the local artists who exhibited throughout the past year for a spectacular Holiday Art Market, which will run for six weeks from November 3 - December 13.

This is a rare opportunities for you to pick up quality artwork under $500 from local artists who typically sell their large masterpieces for hundreds and thousands! Its a perfect opportunity to start you own art collection or pick up a few unique works to give as gifts.

All of the original oil, acrylic and watercolor artworks will be available side by side with Giclée and other prints. Sculptures, fused glass and stained glass works will also be on hand! Everything is under 20" and under $500.

Unlike our typical exhibitions, this show will be hung salon style and when you purchase the work, you can take it immediately with you. This is the ultimate art marketplace!
