Art Auction 2016 will feature live and silent auctions of artwork selected by MCASD curators, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and works on paper. From emerging to established artists, a wide range of work will be available. Enjoy an evening of champagne, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres as you bid on your favorite works and grow your private art collection—all while benefiting MCASD’s art acquisitions, exhibitions, and education programs. Bring in a painting to work on, along with your supplies, and receive help with moving forward on your painting. $25.00 for 3 hours of studio time, guidance, and painting. Maximum 12 artists.

Instructor: Nancy Plank is an realist oil painter who lives and works in San Diego, CA. She is driven to put down the essence of what she sees, feels and experiences as beautiful as in any object. She is well known for her roses and other still life works.
