Event Description

The San Diego Watercolor Society presents “Paint the Town”, A watermedia exhibition juried by San Diego artist, Duke Windsor. Windsor works in a variety of mediums including pastels, oils, acrylic, watercolors and linocut block prints. His artistic breadth ranges from plein air, to abstract, to most recently Terra-cotta sculpture. Windsor was the founding Director of Exhibits at the USS Midway Museum, and former Traveling Exhibits Designer at the San Diego Natural History Museum. The exhibit runs from August 3-August 28 at our Gallery in the ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station. The Opening Reception is Friday August 5 from 5-8 pm with great original art, refreshments and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts.
