Opening Days
Event Description This is a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday Camp! Summer sewing camps are for children ages 7 and up. Whether you are a beginner or advanced seamstress you will find this class fun and exciting. During the camp we focus on sewing and completing one project each day. I let the students be creative while designing and embellishing their creations. The first hour of class is dedicated to designing, cutting and pinning the fabrics and the rest of the day is for sewing and decorating the finished project. We have a 20 minute lunch break at noon and plenty of snacks all day. Typical projects include aprons, pillows, animals, clothes, bags and purses. I let the camp students vote on each day’s project. This is an exciting camp and the students will be begging to come back again.
