Justin BUA is an award-winning artist, author, speaker, entrepreneur, and the only artist to sit on the United States Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee. Groundbreaking in his field, BUA is internationally known for his best-selling collection of fine art posters — The DJ being one of the most popular prints of all time. Born in 1968 in NYC's untamed Upper West Side and raised between Manhattan and East Flatbush, Brooklyn, BUA was fascinated by the raw, visceral street life of the city. He attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts and complemented his education on the streets by writing graffiti and performing worldwide with breakdancing crews. BUA went on to the Art Center College of Design

Event Description "Mark Jesinoski's solo exhibit, Speaking in Tongues," (opening at Negulescu Fine Art in the Barrio Logan Arts District on Oct. 8th.), takes a hard look at contemporary American culture through a parallel dystopian world where cyborgs, puppets, and caricatures, play with themes of religion, bias, fear, politics, and tribalism. By exploring these themes through a non or supra-human culture, Mark's work allows the viewer to contemplate complex socio-cultural issues, through a neutral medium. At it's core Mark's work is an observation of the interpersonal and intercultural dynamics playing out in contemporary America. From the gut Mark's work is an unfiltered expression of the thoughts, feelings, and ideas we all experience and struggle with today. This show will move and surprise you."
