Event Description For art journaling, mixed media, encaustic or collage artists!! There are so many beautiful materials, papers and images on the market, and it is tempting to use things as is. What will separate you from the pack is how you use those materials and images, and that they express your artistic voice. Whether you are a mixed media, encaustic, art journaling or collage artist, this class is for you! Find out how to use tea baths and other materials and techniques to create unique, beautiful ephemera. Participants will select from a variety of photographs, papers, fabric, postcards, etc., then be guided through fun, playful experiments to transform these ordinary supplies into “great stuff” to take home. Get ready to have fun! There will be a lunch break, but we recommend that you pack a lunch to bring to class.
