Event Description in recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27) San Diego History Center in historic Balboa Park will host a powerful call to action through the arts, using the lessons of the Holocaust, to discuss the dangers of hatred and bigotry. This timely and family-oriented event will include: • Film screening of: “NOT the Last Butterfly” (film is suitable for 5th grade & older) • Painting ceramic butterflies • Painted butterfly installation and scavenger hunt • 3:15-3:45: Special presentation: "Our Families: Stories of Survival" from The Butterfly Project Education Team

Event Description The San Diego Watercolor Society presents “Relentless Values”, an art exhibition juried by award-winning artist, Robin St. Louis. The exhibit runs 1/28/18-2/24/18 at our Art Gallery in The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station. The Opening Reception is Friday Feb 2nd from 5-8 pm with 95-100 original ready-to-hang paintings for sale, plus wine, food and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts. Event Description Participate in a walking tour with guest curator, Wendy Wilson-Gibson, followed by “Who is the Monster – You or Me?”, a film about Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely, produced by film maker Peter Schamoni, in the Studio One Theater (Running time 90 minutes, for mature audience only).
