Event Description

This two-day class will be taught by premiere landscape and wildlife artist Joe Garcia. Various painting techniques will be demonstrated, including wet into wet, dry brush, and glazing. References will also be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own to use if desired. One-to-one time will be spent with each student to answer questions or help with any painting concerns. You will gain confidence and skills and get the chance to meet fellow artists. All works are sized 10×10 inches or smaller, and all are priced at $200 or less. The group exhibition will showcase small works by more than 20 Southern California artists. Sparks Gallery also welcomes the following artists to exhibit for the first time in “minis”: Anthony Enyedy, Jessica Newman, Kenda Francis, Molly Kellog, Matt Snyder, Steven Morris, Ryah Masserweh, Maggie Headrick, and Chelsea Leopold. Opening reception wine sales to benefit California Veterans Legal Task Force. Guests who RSVP receive one free drink ticket.
