ManRabbit is a collaboration by San Diego artists Lee Selman and Carla Naden. The two female artists work together as a team to layer fabric and paper, paint, jewels and sparkles, and finally top each piece with a thick resin coat, leaving the works with a luxurious gleam. Event Description Enjoy an evening of visual art as Encinitas’ three civic art galleries swing open their doors. Held bi-monthly, Art Night Encinitas celebrates the city’s diverse arts scene and is free to the public. In 2019, 47 exhibits by local artists will be presented. Event Description "Duo Violin" with Nuvi Mehta Join The Timken for an enchanted evening in the company of Nuvi Mehta, San Diego Symphony’s concert commentator. Mehta will delight the Timken audience with a fascinating discussion on the development of our language of music through history. He will then take the role of violinist and be joined by Alex Palamidis, Principal Second Violin of the San Diego Symphony. The violin duo will perform music from the Baroque to the Modern, including a George Philip Telemann canonic sonata and Franz Peter Schubert songs.
