Madison Gallery is pleased to present distinguished artist Donald Martiny’s second solo exhibition, Pittura A Macchia.
Utilizing pigments, polymer, and gallons of paint, Martiny creates unique compositions that bridge the gap between painting and sculpture. Interested in allowing gesture to escape from the traditional rectangular support and realize its potential in relation to architectural space, Martiny’s work encourages a dialogue between the viewer, the work, and the space contained within.
Please join us on Saturday, February 18th at 6pm for the opening reception of Pittura A Macchia and second segment of the Madison Gallery Artist Lecture Series. Guest Lecturer Ann Landi has been a contributing editor at ARTnews for over 20 years and frequently writes reviews for The Wall Street Journal. Landi holds degrees in art history from Princeton and Columbia University.
Pittura A Macchia will be on display at Madison Gallery from February 18th through April 2nd. |
