Nida Powers provocative imagery incorporates the many roles of womanhood in detailed combinations of female anatomy, domestic appliances, and the great outdoors.
Also opening on July 15th is Masquerade, a series of small quilts on the theme created by Visions Art Museum members.
Join the fun for the opening reception on July 15th from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. and meet the artists. Admission is $7, light refreshments and sparkling wine and water will be served. Museum members enjoy free admission.
Visions Art Museum: Contemporary Quilts + Textiles is located at 2825 Dewey Road in the arts district of Liberty Station, San Diego, California. Museum hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $7. Persons age 18 and under are free.
