Distinction Gallery is proud to present “Resurrection”, a solo show by Linnea Strid. The opening reception will be held on Saturday April 14, from 6-10pm. Reception with the artist will include live music, ArtHatch open studios, BK Cellars Wine, and Stone Beer.
Linnea Strid is a young, Sweden based Artist who is making her mark in the fine art community. Her hyper-realistic oil paintings are most identifiable by her intriguing use of water in portraiture. This reflective, beautifully haunting application captures intimate moments of self-examination, fear and loneliness. With extreme realistic detail, the eye is often fooled to believing it is a photograph.
ArtHatch is a 7,000 square foot building which houses Distinction Gallery: exhibitions changing monthly, multiple exhibition spaces featuring work by represented artists, \"The Alley\" featuring over 20 local artists, 14 artist studios, ranging in size from 150-800 square feet, featuring local artists and the ArtHatch teens. |
