About the Artist:
Fatemeh Burnes uses her training in painting and Persian poetry as the foundation of her art practice. Through layers both physical and symbolic, Burnes investigates the complexity of human existence with references to literature, nature, architecture, and cultural experiences. Burnes creates dreamscapes that are built from different levels of understanding that go beyond single-faceted categorization of her subject and process. |
