| Event Description |
Sutures: Stories with Seams presents just that- a body of fragments. Webb joins seemingly unrelated frames together in a diptych format where personal and anonymous meet. Tension emerges from our desire to unify the images. The intensity of the personal narrative comes through in feelings of fear and joy; disappointment and hope; longing, desire, and attainment. We feel this work, it affects us in a strange and unsettling way. Rather than turn from the scenes we find ourselves grasping for pieces, and longing to sew back together that which is torn.
