Event Description The Studio Door’s 10th Anniversary is celebrating with past and present artists Hyacinthe Baron, Patrick N. Brown, Brian Hicks, Maxx Moses, Nancy Plank, Chris Smith and Kenda Francis Also including: Miguel Camacho-Padilla, Andrea Overturf, Cassandra Schramm. Dedicated to Patric Stillman’s mother-in-law, the fused glass artist Evelyn Loss who recently passed, a cheerful face seen regularly at The Studio Door. Showing May 2 - 29, 2024. Free to the public. No reservation required. We encourage your support through the purchase of the artists' artworks. Our celebration will extend beyond a reception in the gallery to include a special event that extends into Mural Alley for the afternoon.

Event Description The La Mesa Park & Recreation Foundation and City of La Mesa are excited to bring together local artists, performers, art enthusiasts, and the community for an afternoon of inspiration and creativity on Saturday, May 18 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. The event will be held in MacArthur Park at the La Mesa Community Garden at 5080 Memorial Drive, La Mesa located near the Municipal Pool. Art in the Park will also feature live music performances, food trucks, drinks, opportunity drawings, and interactive activities for children. Early Bird Packages (food voucher, drink bracelet and two tickets for drawing), can be purchased online through May 13 at a 30% discount. This event aims to foster a sense of community and appreciation for the arts while providing a platform for local artists to showcase their talents.
