Event Description

Sparks Gallery is honored to announce its forthcoming exhibition, Under One Sky, a powerful celebration of Indigenous art from across the United States. This exhibition brings together contemporary works that honor the survival, resilience, and living traditions of Indigenous peoples, while reflecting the deep-rooted relationship between art, culture, and knowledge. Under One Sky creates a shared space where the beauty and diversity of Native American art serves as both a living vessel of cultural wisdom and a platform for meaningful social reflection. Event Description

On the second Sunday of every month, the Museum offers free admission to all visitors. No reservations are required for Second Sunday admission. From 11AM – 5PM, explore A Decade of Pop Prints and Multiples, 1962–1972: The Frank Mitzel Collection, Art Auction 2026, and what's on view in The Collection Galleries and The Sculpture Garden. Public Tour 2PM: Join a free tour with an MCASD Educator, where attendees pick the theme.

Event Description

Come enjoy a fun-filled day in our neighborhood! MCASD's Education and Engagement team is partnering with La Jolla Historical Society for Growing Together. The first joint event is March 8 during MCASD's Play Day and LJHS Family Day. Inspired by artist Robert Irwin, enjoy artmaking and engaging activities in MCASD's Prebys Learning Center and Art Park and at La Jolla Historical Society. Fern Street Circus, Librarian on the Go, and local artists will create a lively experience for all ages. Art Activity: DIY art inspired by Robert Irwin Additional Programming: From 11AM-2PM, enjoy music, cozy up in the book nook, and free play on McGrath Terrace. At 12:30PM, sing, listen, and laugh at Storytime with Ms. Katia, Librarian On the Go
