This painting class is designed especially for young artists who are ready to explore the colorful world of painting!
Each week introduces a new artistic skill—like mixing colors, using different brushstrokes, and creating simple shapes and textures—while encouraging kids to express their own unique ideas. Students will work with acrylic paints on paper and canvas as they create landscapes, animals, abstract art, and more.
Throughout the course, artists will:
Discover primary and secondary colors, practice brush control, and basic painting techniques, learn how to plan and build a picture step-by-step, explore creative themes that spark storytelling and self-expression, and build confidence as young artists through positive guidance and a fun learning environment.
By the end of six weeks, each artist will have a portfolio of artwork and a stronger understanding of how to use paint as a tool for creativity. |
