Event Description Artist, musician, and child abuse prevention advocate, Cici (Porter) Artemisia, is having a pop-up art event in conjunction with the release of her new musical album, The Lucky One, just before she leaves San Diego after 35 years. This is a going-away party, a celebration of The Lucky One CD, a video shoot for the title track (come get your 15 seconds of fame in a solo shot, then stick around for the flash mob), and a pop-up art sale. There will be an intimate concert, interactive mural painting, food trucks, a no-host bar, games of chance (Horseshoes, Poker, Wheel of Fortune!) gratitude chain, Queens for a Day! Fortune Tellers! Shamrocks! Lucky Pennies! Bubbles! Rainbows! Hooligans engaging in shenanigans! Outdoor fun! Ample Parking! Pots of gold everywhere!

Event Description The spirit of Aloha comes alive at Front Porch Gallery! Surf boards become medium, muse and metaphor, as these artists breathe the Hawaiian concept of “Aloha” or “divine breath” into their work. With a diverse range of creative expressions–including painted, handcrafted and Warhol inspired boards, portraits of surf icons and surf inspired photography—these artists explore the intersection of nature, culture and spirit that inhabits the border between land and sea.
