There is a special joy in receiving a hand-written message in the age of digital communication. Join local artist Griselda Rosas via Zoom for a virtual Art Apart workshop to go a step further and create handmade postcards so that you can spread the warmth of connection from afar. With a few supplies that can be easily found at home, you’ll soon be making art from the heart and creating connections (scroll down below the registration link for the list of supplies). Registration is required and space is limited.
Supplies needed for this project:
Heavy paper or precut cereal box card with paper glued to the front and back (5-6” long x 4.5” high)
Needle and thread
Scissors
Glue stick/liquid glue
Recycled cutouts from a magazine, pictures, and/or thin pieces of fabric
One or all of these: markers, color pencils, crayons, watercolors, pencil |
