About the workshop: Learning the Chinese art form is a fun and exciting way to learn about Chinese art culture. It is a timeless art skill! Students in this Chinese Painting workshop will be trained to use Chinese brushes, ink, and Chinese gouache on rice paper.
About the Artist: Lulu Yueming Qu is a San Diego-based professional artist and art teacher who immigrated from China 8 years ago. She has over 20 years of Chinese painting skills and over 3 years of teaching experience. She received her Master's Degree in traditional Chinese painting from The Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. She has another Master's Degree in illustration, from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
