Event Description

ArtWalk Carlsbad is FREE to attendees. The event focuses on fine art on display and for sale by the artists, who travel from all over the US and Mexico to show and sell their work. In a venue overlooking the ocean, attendees can explore different facets of art while enjoying beautiful views and much more. The festival will feature fine art including painting, sculpture, glass work, fine jewelry, photography and more. More than 150 fine artists’ work will be featured, along with interactive art for families at KidsWalk, a full palette of musical performers, food trucks and stands, and more.

R.B. Stevenson Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition "ECHOES in NATURE" by San Diego artist Jennifer Anne Bennett. We cordially invite you to the opening reception on Saturday, September 19th, from 5 to 8 p.m. This is the second solo exhibition for San Diego artist Jennifer Anne Bennett, where her work has been featured in both solo and group exhibitions. Bennett’s paintings are united by light, atmosphere, creating a space to enter, daydream, or encounter the unexpected. They are ambiguous landscapes where the viewer may bring a history, narrative, or memory to the works. There is an instinctive sense of place: ground and sky, forest and clouds, branches and boulders, all symbols rendered in poetic and quiet perception.
