| Event Description |
Exhibit on view November 16 - December 16, 20206. Join us for the reception on Wednesday, November 18, 4 - 7 pm. Plants and pets provide comfort and solace; mythical creatures inhabit our imagination. From Wile E. Coyote to the seals of La Jolla, from the Venus flytrap to the bean stalk of children's literature. This exhibition features artwork that reflects on our relationship with beasts and plants, both real and imagined, a playful portrayal of a favorite fur baby, to a magical interpretation of a fictional creature and everything in between. Please visit our website (listed below) for the list of over 90 artists featured in our largest group exhibit to date. Curated by the Museum Studies class under the direction of professor Alessandra Moctezuma. |
