Sun Shadows JUNE RUBIN Opening art reception at Liberty Station Sun Shadows art show sheds light on the experimental side of San Diego artist June Rubin. “Organic” is a vibrant “painting” of orange grapes with black ribbons of paint to delineate shadows. “Fiery Tree” is a playful colorful watercolor in which the magenta side of the hot pink tree trunk gives form to a beloved Mission Bay tree. Event Description

FIRST FRIDAY ARTS DISTRICT - San Diego’s biggest monthly free arts event on the First Friday of every month PLUS a film screening after sunset! Meet working artists, make art, see new exhibitions, enjoy dance, theatre and music performances, discover public art and more! Wander and explore the 28 acre campus with galleries, museums, artist studios, distinctive shops and dining at historic Liberty Station. At 8:00pm make your way to the North Promenade to see a free film screening of At Eternity’s Gate (2019).
