Event Description

The San Diego Watercolor Society proudly presents “Nox Mente”, a Virtual Art Exhibition”. Enjoy great watermedia art 24/7 at www.SDWS.org. Exhibit runs from November 1-28, 2020. The paintings by our very talented members are shown in our online slide show and can be purchased through our Online Store. Award-winning artist, Stan Kurth, is the juror. Upon purchase, the paintings will be shipped to the buyer unframed. Be sure to watch our website for updates regarding timelines for opening our physical Gallery at Liberty Station. Until then, there will be a new Member Virtual Show each month for your enjoyment.

Event Description

In partnership with the City of Encinitas, Encinitas Friends of the Arts will be celebrating its 7th annual Encinitas Dia de la Muertos (Day of the Dead) on Sunday November 1, 2020 virtually 1 pm. In keeping with our mission, we believe this free family event will foster an appreciation and awareness of this significant Latino cultural celebration while uniting people of all backgrounds and traditions. The festival is geared toward families offering great Mariachi music and exciting Ballet Folklorico dances. Plus art-making workshops, art exhibit, and face painting contest.
