Troika is a Russian word meaning a group of three. More specifically, it can mean an alliance, political otherwise, of three equal persons or nations – a triumvirate. I hope you enjoy our troika of strong, San Diego women artists. Their styles are as varied as the paths that brought them to Southern California; but they share a clearsightedness about and a commitment to their individual visions.
