Celebrate San Diego’s newest public art project, Use Your Voice, organized by Sounding Boards and Nomad Donuts! The outdoor gallery will debut with work by Josue Baltezar, Kenda Francis, Mary Jhun, Jon Pucci, and rotate regularly to display a diverse group of California artists.
Stop by to grab a donut on Juneteenth, and learn more about how you can be a part of future projects. DJ Wet Carrot and DJ Alx Crtz will bring upbeat tunes, and several of the artists will be finishing their pieces under the San Diego sunshine.
Founded in Chicago last summer, Sounding Boards has organized and funded for more than 25 murals promoting social justice and equality, donating proceeds to the artists and select neighborhood nonprofits.
