Artists throughout time have used food as a source for inspiration and storytelling. Join Robin Douglas for a presentation of gourmet still lifes and sumptuous paintings featuring artists like Judy Chicago, Audrey Flack, Wayne Thiebaud and Georgia O’Keeffe. Create your own mouth-watering work of art in a variety of styles. All supplies for your original artwork will be provided and artists of all levels are welcome.

Event Description

La Jolla Art Association presents Celebrate the Old Year, Welcome to the New Year a the La Jolla Community Center, an exhibition of fine art and digital photography by members of the association. The exhibition runs from Mon., Dec. 5 through January 27 from 9 am - 5 pm weekdays, at the La Jolla Community Center, 6811 La Jolla Blvd, La Jolla, CA. A festive reception for the artists will be held on Thursday, December 15 from 4 - 6 pm. The exhibition and reception is free and open to the public.
