Encinitas Dia de los Muertos n Encinitas is a way for us all to honor and connect with Latino members of our community. This year in partnership with MiraCosta College, Encinitas Friends of the Arts is pleased to hold its 10th Annual Encinitas Day of the Dead on Sun. Oct. 29th from 12- 4 pm on the MiraCosta Collage San Elijo Campus.
The festival is geared toward families offering great performances by Mariachi bands and exciting Ballet Folklorico groups on stage. Plus, art-making workshops, artist demonstrations, a Day of the Dead art exhibit by local students, food trucks and a low-rider car show! There will be a 10’ Ofrenda in the Encinitas Library and MiraCosta San Elijo Campus, which will be open to all to contribute remembrances of loved ones. |
