Art San Diego is more than just an art fair—it’s an art experience. The dynamic programming provides an exciting experience for our attendees, offering opportunities to view and interact with works by preeminent international, national, and local artists, and enjoy exhibitions that showcase the thriving art and design landscape of San Diego and beyond. Event Description

The San Diego Watercolor Society proudly presents “What’s the Story?”, juried by award-winning artist, Jesse Miller. The water-based media exhibition runs November 3 – 25, 2023 at our Gallery in The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station. The Opening Reception is Friday, Nov 3, 5-8pm with over 95 ready-to-hang original paintings plus refreshments and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts. The Gallery is open Weds-Sun, 11am – 3pm. Over 400 people attend each month’s First Friday Art Walk and were treated to complimentary catered cuisine, signature cocktails, hot toddies, and — of course — beautiful art and memorable artists. Each month a new theme is selected to make sure that every Art Walk is a unique experience. Galleries will be unveiling and showing all types of artwork from sculptures and photography to paintings and culinary creations. thumbprintgallery.com We are pleased to present Night Encounters, a solo exhibition by local artist Hilary Dufour. Hilary Dufour is an artist living in San Diego who draws on the natural world as an endless source of inspiration. She appreciates the slow, absorbing process of artmaking. She earned a BFA in Studio Art and Art History from the University of California Davis, and later earned a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology from University of Arizona. She works full-time as a GIS Specialist. She studies the natural world and the intricate relationships of flora and fauna within ecosystems, to weave together their form, color and texture, sometimes juxtaposed with the human figure - displaying the interconnectedness of all living things. Additionally, she enjoys using photography as a medium to capture moments that can be saved forever, whether posed or candid. With her photography and figure art, she strives to capture an individual's uniqueness and help
