Join instructor Helen Shafer Garcia as inspiration and process will guide you to explore watercolor techniques in a relaxed and fun atmosphere! Helen will show you contemporary experimental painting techniques including pours, negative painting, mark making, and surface textures to create glaze layers in exploratory flora and fauna compositions. Pigment characteristics, color theory, composition and design will also be covered with demos, critiques, and individual instruction. Students should have some knowledge of basic watercolor techniques. |
