||Amanda Farber: True Stories from Nature
September 18–October 30, 2021
Opening Reception: Friday, September 17, 6:30-8:30 PM
Amanda Farber exhibits works in ink, watercolor, and graphite on paper, and acrylic on wood. Her images derive from imaginary forms, personal memories, photographs, textile patterns, vintage illustrations, and advertisements. She combines high contrasts and rhyming negative spaces with distortion or abstraction, often blurring the line between two and three dimensions.
Farber holds a BFA from Cooper Union, New York and an MFA from University of California, San Diego.
