Join us on Wednesday, December 8 at 7 p.m. for a Dharma talk on Impermanence with Tibetan Buddhist Monks from Gaden Shartse Monastery as part of the Impermanence exhibition.
\"Death is certain and the time of death is uncertain. Before one faces death, one must be well-practiced and prepared. Buddha Shakyamuni taught, “the nature of all compounded phenomena is one of impermanence.” One must be constantly mindful of this. If one has a clear understanding of pervading nature of impermanence, then one can enter the gate of Buddha’s teaching and begin their spiritual practice.”
