Do you have a precious broken piece of jewelry you’d like to reawaken? In this jewelry workshop, we will be weaving silk from Indian saris into beautiful necklaces augmenting your old treasure and bringing new life to it.
You will learn several techniques of braiding, weaving and crocheting to create a unique piece of jewelry.
Presenter: Chinanshu A Sharma
Chinanshu A Sharma is a jewelry artist, designer, and entrepreneur based in Del Mar, California. She studied jewelry design and fabrication at IIGJ, Jaipur, India, and ran a small all-women enterprise training and employing economically weaker women in Bangalore Jaipur before moving to the US.
