Join award-winning San Diego artist Joan Hansen for an immersive two-day workshop exploring the vibrant world of landscapes, water scenes, and skies. With a focus on color and nature, Joan will guide participants through a series of studies and practical sessions aimed at honing intermediate to advanced painting skills.
Day One:
Explore the nuances of sunrise, bright sunny, and sunset skies through canvas panel studies.
Learn techniques for painting different types of clouds to capture the essence of each sky.
Day Two:
Delve into the art of adding water to scenes, considering variations and values influenced by the light in the sky.
Participants will select a sky study from the previous day and create their own painting of a landscape, seascape, or lake scene using resource. |
