This exhibition is the visual partner to Oceanside Theatre Company\'s production of \"Next to Normal\", a musical drama about a family dealing with the mother\'s mental health issues.
Exhibition explores the challenges of mental health issues and mental illness, as well as the many positives for dealing with those challenges. The intent is for artists to interpret & create visual storytelling that increases recognition & understanding of mental health issues, provides awareness about help and self-care, reduces the stigma of mental health issues and illness, and promotes communication & interaction with impacted individuals & families.
